As per the post above. Most club racing isn't Ł50, it's Ł60+ for non members but that's only for Sunday, nearly the same again for Saturday practice and you're getting closer. As others have pointed out, it's also run as a professional enterprise, not a club of volunteers.
Yes, you have to add tyres for each round but that's true to be competitive in some club champs and at least with super one, tyres are controlled, so everyone's on the same batch.
We're new to it this year but the experience so far has been positive.
