Sounds like a dangerous precedent has been set.
How long now before half the field are coming in with missing nose cones to avoid penalties?

I imagine the reason they don't do this for dropped noses is down to time. If it takes an hour to investigate each incident fully, you're going to need race meetings to last about a week.

I think it's ridiculous that people are still complaining about these noses.
If you want to do karting for fun, go and race IKR and be gone with the stupid rule.
Leave MSA karting to the deluded rich parents who think their kids can go all the way and go and have some fun with people who just want to enjoy their racing.

The mass exodus might actually make the MSA or ABkC take note and do something well thought about rather than a knee-jerk abortion of an idea
