Hi everyone.

After help from guys on here I finally found a kart that suited our needs.
I bought a 2015 TAG TKM.

I looked at photos, got a run down of the kart and decided that as the 'seller' ran a team, it would be a safe bet.
The kart looks great, on closer inspection there are a few untidy bits but not worth making a fuss over. Its been put back together in a hurry but I can sort the annoying bits out.

When I arrived the kart didn't have a battery so I didn't hear the kart running.
The promise of a battery sent on to me hasn't materialised so I went yesterday and bought 2 x brand new YT7B-BS.

The brand new battery hardly turns over the engine, it will turn over without the plug but once the plug is in it won't turn it over.
Even a 12v jump pack won't turn it over.
Its had new start/stop buttons and relay and I got the old relay with the kart.
Have got the battery on trickle chargers and even over night with fresh charge the thing won't turn over.

For a while I wasn't getting a spark with the plug sat on top of the motor but after cleaning all the contacts I got an intermittent spark.
More wiggling and there a great spark, then nothing.
Im going to go through all the connections again, also there wasn't an earth strap on the coil so I put one on to see if it helped.
Im thinking if i get a spark, albeit not constant its more likely not the ignition or coil, from experience, coils work or they don't.

Im pretty pee'd off with the seller and have decided i'll get more sense and action if I try and sort this myself.

Any ideas or pointers on what i should be trying??
