I'll look up the total penalties
A jnr x30 driver I spoke to said there was 28 on the grid with 10 penalties,
In the jnr max pre there was 29 on the grid with 11 penalties
i totally agree we need more officials but it's a waste of time if they don't do anything about the driving, that's why we are in this position
in my view the cadet that swerved across the track should of been excluded from the meeting, but did not even get a warning flag.
Imo that driver should then be logged and if he does it again the next 2 meetings you get a 3 month Msa ban. That surly would help
Yes some of the penalties was due to contact, but some was drivers sliding around and off in the wet conditions, some was drivers sliding into others when they started to slid, there will always be contact in any form of racing, the hard bit is deciding on what's on purpose and what's not
With the no protest rule the Msa know this is going to be a mare, so if someone purposely brakes tests you and your noses drops you can't do anything about it???
I watched a Rotax side pod another kart off track, what next dropping side pods?
There was a lot of people saying negative things about noses and only one said something positive
But contact and the bad driving does need sorting, it's a hard one to fix
