We've been using the rear Euro Bumper for a couple of years now. The reason why we decided to use the Euro Bumper was because they are stronger and more reliable and can take a significant rear impact thus absorbing the energy if CONTACT is made by another kart.
Quite often you find karts which use the standard tubular frame designed rear bumpers break more easily if contact occurs and therefore you're more likely to receive a mechanical flag!!
