Club 100 is very very well run, not just the karts and the comparative nature of them - i.e. it's down to the driver, but the officials which run it have a brilliant in race penalties system, which cuts out banditry and makes for excellent racing. You do something bad in race, you get a in race 5 second or 10 second penalty or more or really bad, black flag which is a drive through penno, all drivers kept informed so you know what penno you are carrying and with 20 min races you can make back the penno. They also do major series for other organisations - forces, schools and also BUKC British universities kart championship, upwards of 100 teams of 4 drivers, all mainly from previous Junior / early senior racing UK and international - so very very competitive; best laps and lap records split by a thousandth of a second! My lads uni Huddersfield won the whole championship for the first time beating multiple winners Oxford, it was a classic unknown northern uni beating a blue chip uni, they also won best team for their sportsmanship and fairplay. Best racing we have ever seen from doing many years of IKR and MSA. The qualifiers are on Friday and Sat this week at Wilton Mill for anyone that's interested, with main rounds at, Buckmore, Landow, Clay pigeon, warden law in feb and March. So yeah go for the Club 100 to start with. If you like it go for TKM owner driver - they do a clubman class which has very good controls to control cost. OEKC good too as you can tag onto a team or pay for a drive.
