We had the same issue.

X30 I think is only from 13.

MiniMax or classes without a restrictor system are always going to be a problem for big pre teens.

Its TKM or Junior Blue depending where you come from. They both run a weight restrictor system that works well.

We did Junior Blue, grids ranged from 6-8 drivers. However we had a fantastic two years using watercooled IAME 100cc two stroke engines. Generally grids in the South of Whilton. Age 11-16

We are moving to X30 now as we are 13 and in the North. However, we are only 5 kilos below min weight for X30 and 12 years old. By the time he is 13 I bet we will be on the limit.

So I think Blue and TKM type championships are essential.

Just to point out my son does not eat all the pies. Hes just a big lad.
