Went to Whilton this afternoon to have a look.
No entry fee and a nice glossy programme (also free) so not bad from a spectator point of view.
Grids were a bit on the small side but still some good, close racing with very little contact despite all classes doing rolling starts.
I like the idea of cadets being for 8-10 years and then super cadet for 10-12, junior 12-15 and super fks 15-17. In my view, the current cadet range of 8-13 is too wide and there is a massive difference in size, strength and maturity but super cadet did not catch on at club level.
It may well be that some parents wanted to wait and see how the series ran before making the financial commitment soi perhaps more will join during the year or for next year.
Obviously not everyone will be able to afford FKS as well as regular club racing or S1 series but I believe there are enough who can afford it and good luck to them.
