The decline of karting is a myth. There are probably more people karting now than ever. The reality is there is a while lot more choice and everything has become fragmented. MSA is too rigid and has too many classes. Then there is IKR and arrive and drive. If you could bring it all together on the same day then every meeting would be packed.

Looking back with rose tinted specs is lovely but it doesn't really give us the answer. If it did then everyone would be at Clay Pigeon this weekend where we have super cheap racing, long life tyres, open awnings, karts on roof racks and F100 90's.

Karting needs to get with the times and we need a strong and decisive governing body to take us forward rather than the outdated and powerless one we have now.
