X30 is more expensive than Rotax on a meeting per meeting basis.
But its more fun to drive so its worth the little bit extra and obviously people agree. On paper X30 is terrible....no warranty less time between rebuilds, old technology, softer tires etc etc.... but in reality its 1000x better to drive!

I think were selling karting the wrong way. like richpudd says its not about level playing fields. it never was and never will be. We should be selling it on whats fun about it.
Very few ever win a club race even less a national race so those with less talent less money etc need to actually enjoy the whole experience not just the result. and thats where rotax has failed!

I have more stories and memories from F100 and X30 than i do in 10 years of rotax. I can only remember the results in Rotax (wins etc) in F100/x30 i remember the races and driving etc.

Sadly the only thing fun about the most popular class for ten years was Warranty, and 40 hours between rebuilds....... make karts objects of desire not, white goods.
