Were dealing with a rotax max here. It invented the words "Bog" and "Release"
I could wreck the handling of your rotax/Tonykart by putting a VERY stiff seat in. It will be hard to drive, unforgiving. this sort of seat would show up the engines weaknesses massively.
When you raced Ian in your 100cc you had a gearing of 10/90 etc. These rotaxs have gearing of 12/88 on a similar track as they only rev to 14000.
Add to that the extra 20/30kgs of weight, an oversized carb and you can't go backing it into a corner and plant your foot on the gas as you hit the apex with opposite lock and hope it comes out.
So these more "subtle" setup changes are needed.
Also Chassis are so much softer now its a joke. so a seat has a much bigger effect than it did. intact the seat will probably take more punishment than the chassis now haha.
