I am a full supporter of Caroline & i do believe that arrive & drive is the way forward, but I don't understand the price structure of formula kart stars (FKS) but then again I don't understand where the money goes on S1 or any of the other high profile series. I will state for a fact that you can race in 7 x 6 hour races 1 x European 24 race the British 24 hr race , start with a brand new kart new engines & new tyres at every round for Ł9600 plus the dreaded (vat). After reading this site for god knows how many years I am finally sick & tired of the misinterpretation & fantasies that people make up about the cost of racing. Yes if you have a Ł50000 camper or misled into spending thousands with a team when the only person that knows you have won & & the only one person in the world who probably cares is your mother. Let's stop the merry go round a lot of these people love it when they blow up an engine or buy a new chassis just to satisfy their ego. It's time to remember the "kings new clothes"
Wake up & smell the coffee if you can afford a cup after you have just bought a new Ł1500 crash helmet & had a Ł500 paint job for your bambinos first race. 35 years & nothing has changed.
