Besides, what “undeliverable promises” does IKR make? It doesn’t even exist as an entity that might make ‘undeliverable promises’ ... unlike UKIP (I certainly agree with you there!). ‘IKR’ is, for now anyway, merely a description of an alternative to racing under the rigid structure that bears the ‘MSA’ stamp.
IKR thereby simply circumvents the iron grip that vested interests have on MSA karting, which, as you describe so well, cannot be loosened directly. That’s why IKR is hugely in the interest of all of us, the consumers – even of those who just race MSA because it is forcing and will force consumer-led change indirectly. But you knew that already...
