Further to ..... battenberg flag = can't overtake and line up behind the leader whose going around 25-50% race speed

It's what speed do the drivers behind the leader do ? until they catch up.
- a few seconds a lap slower, as long as control of the kart is maintained
- instantly slow to a rolling pace crawl
- not bother and possibly set fastest sector times and/or fastest lap.

At the club event last weekend, under the Battenberg most flowed down by a few sec on 1st Battenberg lap, even more so when waved down by marshals.

Battenberg was shown for ~ 3 laps; meanwhile
- a few didn't appear to slow down at all as were so far behind leader
- one driver set his 2nd fastest lap time
- one driver fell off the track by himself
- the leader had to be encouraged by the marshals to slow town
