Just been informed the Tyne & Wear Kart Club has been dissolved by Karting Northeast (The Circuit Owners)and will no longer run their monthly race meetings in 2015. This is a very sad day for all North East Karters where the current management has managed to distroy a once great club Warden Law later re-named(Tyne & Wear Kart Club) in just over 3 years!!
I'm personally not surprised, dwindling grids, no effort whatsoever to build new memberships or encourage visiting drivers to attend, limited track time to practice, high costs to race, etc, etc, etc!!!!!!

It wasn't all that long ago when the former Warden Law Kart Club used to get large grids every month across all kart classes with over 160 entries including top level drivers & national championships visiting.
