We too suffered badly this weekend at Kimbolton with first corner incidents. I would agree that it is in most cases the same few drivers causing incidents month after month, and nothing is done about it. You are right, it is usually these people who shout the loudest at the officials when challenged, and have the most well thought through excuses if they are called in front of the clerk.
The club is doing the best it can within the current constraints however, so something has to change.
Given the overall cost of karting, not to mention the heartache and frustration of seeing your driver launched off month after month with no consequence to the offender, I for one would be happy to pay a higher entry fee to either have more (or more qualified) observers, or to support a camera based system. Alternatively, just go to standing starts and have to buy the odd new clutch drum.
