Wheel hub nut torque???

At every meeting this year I have seen wheels coming off karts, usually the retaining nuts have come loose or the studs sheared. A lot use impact guns, a few use tbars when fitting wheels, but what you never see is anybody doing an over check with a torque wrench? I now use a torque wrench as a final check at 25Nm which seems in line with the tbar I use by hand. My question is what torque settings should be used with M8 K nuts ?
