There is only one public comment (dated 5-July) posted on the council's planning application website which OBJECTS to the development.

This objector also objects to the "noise", but this is amazing as he lives west of the M6 whereas the proposed track is east of M6, some 600 meters away.

"....This development should not be permitted as it is a green belt area. The extra noise and pollution that residents in the surrounding area would have to endure are simply not acceptable. There are numerous car boot sales in the are which cause traffic chaos already. This is green belt so the developer should look for brown field sites. Also with the planned and current motorway deveoplment will only add to the noise and pollution we endure now without the noise of karting. ...."
