Chris, You are right that getting owner-drivers on track in organised competitive events is critical to the future strength of UK Karting, so I agree entirely with your statement - Both MSA and IKR should be supported by us as they both have a role to play in putting karting back on its feet. There seems to be a strong forum sniping tendency between supporters of MSA / IKR let alone the analogous Rotax / X30 "debate" that is not helpful in either case to either camp, and my reading of it is that the new converts seem much more critical and vocal than the "old guard". As we are in a sport enjoyed by such a tiny minority wouldn't it be great if those who choose to snipe could realise the damage they are doing to the likelihood of those interested but watching from the sidelines actually joining in. Working together to get new people into the sport is much more important than persuading current competitors to "move across".
