Got to agree with Simon on this one. Damage is an accepted risk of racing. Most damage is caused as part of a racing incident, very few make a move with the intention of causing damage. Apportioning blame will be impossible without court cases, which will cost a lot more than a bent axle.

If you genuinely believe that somebody deliberately damaged your kart then the courts are already there to help you and the lawyers will gladly take your money.
