In our experience, first corner accidents account for 90% of the incidents where we have been "taken out" or had a race ruined.

It wasn't becasue my lad was slow or another lad was coming through in a brilliant way. It's down to closeness and speed with inevitable consequnces coupled with the few who have no respect.

Standing starts give the grid time to get into single file earlier for the first corner and speed is so reduced any loading that does occur can be handled.

It's now been proven it cuts first corner accidents virtually completely so what's bad about that.

As they say the race can't be won at the first corner so lets create an environment where bad or careless driving into the first corner no longer pays dividends.

We need people with the BALLS to make the change, not continue with heads in the sand.
