The test here is: have the new 'safety' systems (e.g., Tupperware) made karters SAFER?

Count the number of karts racing today and the deaths and injuries occurring and compare THAT to the numbers racing BEFORE Tupperware and the numbers of deaths and injuries suffered then. (there were vastly more of us in the 1960s and 1970s than now)) I'd be STAGGERED if it were any better now than in my day BEFORE Tupperware! That's without all the improved helmet technology and better tracks and barriers. Those last couple probably will have made an improvement but the Tupperware has INCREASED the number of crashes..... It, therefore, has NOT improved the safety and it should be BANNED!
