I don't think we are miles apart in our views. I agree it would be worth while trying faster starts, it should stop some of the loading into the first corner. As for qualifying Buckmore were one of the first circuits to adopt this for all club meetings but last year following a vote amongst the drivers Seniors and Juniors reverted to three heats and a final. The other classes still do qualifying.
