Suggest if you're so close to Shennington then come down this weekend and talk to drivers and their dads for overall views.
I expect minimax will say that's the way to go and TKM will say exactly the same. Theres pros and cons for both classes, don't rule out Junior X30 either which is taking off this year.

At 45 Kilos you've plenty of growth in Juniors. My lad is 64kgs suited and booted and runs at the front.
