well that is a fail straight away then, the fastest Honda's this year are nearly a second quicker than the fastest iames on any twisty tracks, and now all the others are going to be faster too!
Well done!! a brilliant way to kill the Iame class before it even gets going!!!
we moved to Iame thinking this was the start of a great new class,but 2 of the three tracks we race the Honda is faster than the iame already, so as our grids are libre it now sounds like we and many others will have to switch back to Honda to stay on the pace !!! WHAT A FARCE

the Honda engine does not need any alterations, just make the class "clubman" then any engine can be bought for Ł500 and will stop all this stupid tuning and silly prices,
IMO the iame should be a MINIMUM 2 seconds faster than the Honda, to develop the class, and to justify the extra, time ,effort, maintenance and also to establish this engine as the no.1 british championship engine and class, thus giving people a clear choice on which direction to go.
or whip out the restrictor in the iame and raise the age limit to a minimum 10 year old , making the Honda/comer a beginner engine
