Oooops! I seem to have 'lit the blue touchpaper' here! The point I was making was simply, that on the basis half the potential entries for S1 reside south of the midlands, the proposed venues were heavily biased towards the north? And while the associated costs of travel etc should not be dismissed, there is - for some us - a time factor as well. Larkhall is a full days drive, as is GYG as is Rowrah. That's three 5 day weekends? I fully accept the argument that S1 is the elite championship for Karting in the UK. And that if you want to play with the best then expect to pay. But when the logistics unnecessarily negate entries in a championship with slipping numbers, the question asked is 'has this been carefully thought through'.
