Less what you say about the Koden is not strictly true. The rear of the helmet does appear to be high especially if the size has beep eithe poorly selected or the wearer has grown but there are 2 points to be taken into account. 1. It does allow for a comfortable fitment of a neck brace if required. 2 there is a high risk of injury to C2 & C3 of the spine if a helmet is low at the back of the neck. Many accidents cause the head to be jerked backwards where if the helmet is low on the collar line it is likely to impact the spine risking displacement. For your information there is a revised version due imminently that strongly resembles the Arai in design and shape. Another fact that is often overlooked is that a high proportion of popular helmet shells are produced within a few feet of one another in the same factory! Included in that list will be both the manufacturers I have already mentioned plus Bell, head tec, ect.
