He's within a second at clay but I can't "see" the time. Timing him against another driver last weekend in 3 sections of track, he was 1/10th off, 2/10ths off and 3/10ths off respectively. The lad we were timing against was probably making the most out of the circuit as it was last weekend but not as quick as a club meeting. I could tell he was going quicker but I couldn't say why he was losing time. My guess is he's a bit slower everywhere hence my questions about GPS. He was 3/10ths off in the bit we were timing with the slowest corners. I think we could have improved overall pace by changing for longer gearing but with longer gearing I've found he can only get to a certain lap time and no faster so I put 2 teeth on to try to improve acceleration. Is there an easy way to see what it's doing or should I persevere with trial and error?
