Hootsman, many good points made in your post.

You also ask; "It would be nice though if just once someone would do something totally open and transparent for the good of karting."

Unlikely, too many vested interests exist in karting just as any other business sector I suppose. For me however the big difference is that in Karting even the governing bodies (MSA & ABkC) have vested interests as they seek to fund there organisations with money taken from the sport.
