starchem paint stripper, it's the only one with dichloromethane and phenol in it, means it has skull and crossbones warning.
It's like nitomors used to before it went all hard hat and hi-viz.
It won't damage you decals, but will smear your numbers.
Wear gloves and specs.
To help prevent rubber marking wipe plenty of silicone spray/mr sheen/wd40 on the pods with a cloth a couple of times a day, Teflon spray is best but only available online.
