"For the second time Germany is on the verge of claiming the greatest driver of their generation, while all the UK can do is produce a succession of nearly men. Spot the connection? Who's to blame?"
So, how does it work in Germany that is so much better than the UK and rest of the world?
Michael's dad ran a kart track and Michael used to coach the son of a wealthy businessman, That guy realised that Michael had far more talent than his own son and sponsored Michael. Sebatian was piocked up by the Red Bull Junior programme.
I really don't see that the German kart classes or theor governing body played a major role with either driuver - but if you know better then please enlighten us rather than just knock UK karting.
There is a massive amount to be found in the driver and set-up before the `special' engine is worth the money.
