Another cracking result from the folk at the MSA.. so clearly showing that the last time any of them competed it involved a dude with a red flag ambling in front of them......
I disagree, I think the overtaking one is a pretty major.... but then it's eclipsed by the definition of leaving the track.
As I read the overtaking ruling: "In response to each attempted overtaking manoeuvre no more than one change of direction to defend a position is permitted"...
So that says your on the straight you come to some one you're about to pass, you move to the inside... they move to defend so one defensive move from them. You now move to pass on the outside of them and because that would be a new attempted overtake they are allowed to defend again. Though it remains the case that if you're along side and they defend that it would be seen as crowding.
As for what defines the track.... gone is the argument that as long as some part of a wheel was within the white line and on the track and now anything that goes beyond the white line or kerb and you've left the track.
Outstanding work chaps, ten out of ten, can't wait for the 2014 season... still they managed to shoehorn in three more classes.... can I ask rhetorically we need the MSA because of why.....
