We had the opposite problem with the Storm - kart wouldn't turn in hard enough compared to others.
My lad tends to drive very smoothly and does not turn the wheel very aggressively. I moved the Ackermann settings on the stub axles from the outer to the inner settings (using slightly shorter connecting rods) to increase the Ackermann effect - this seems to suit his style more. It may be worth checking that you have got yours set on the outer holes to get the opposite effect.
Another thing to check is weight distribution front to back and move the seat if necessary.
It also may be worth stiffening up the back end with a harder axle, longer wheel stubs, tight side pods/bumper, stiffer seat etc. I have noticed that the older, heavier kids (with a higher centre of gravity) seem to benefit more from a looser setup in the dry, with the smaller ones needing a stiffer setup - this is from watching my lad grow like a weed over the last twelve months !!
