Why is it the clubs fault?
Karting is a non contact sport.. Don't cross the white line when overtaking, no more than 2 wheels over the kerbs... Simple rules ignored from the very early stages of a drivers carreer in the sport.
Drivers are sometimes given an inch....they then take a mile. Loading is encouraged at starts, so called mentors telling kids to fire him off asap. Iv herd and seen it all at all ages. If kids are given the impression that it is ok to do these things then by the time they are a senior they will carry on doing it! That's what they were taught.
It's not the tracks fault there are to many drivers who rely on using their bumpers to gain places. Turn 1 at Kim is a brilliant corner, learn to brake earlier on cold tyres, and remember you don't win the race unless you finish at least!
Everyone blames everyone else. What comes around goes around.
There are always going to be bumps and crashes, it would be nice if drivers did start to attempt to avoid them though.
Kimbolton is a fantastic track and club. Everyone makes mistakes, I'm sure they value everyone of their members though!
