Yes bit of a strange one isn't it as you would think stiffening kart would give more grip. I like running bar out in wet. Not sure why. Def helps when riding kerbs which you sometimes need to do in wet. Back in 90's when I used to race 100cc karts you always loosened everything for wet, theory was it allowed chassis to twist and dig in more. I find soft chassis helps under braking in wet as well. Again not sure why maybe a personal thing.
