The big problem is these tyres are seconds a lap slower than the old compound and either can be used. There are many Dads and Teams out there who still have stocks of the old compound, some have been finding them in Germany and importing them although there's none left now. This is making cadet racing in the wet a farce and it needs to kick off until the MSA, ABKC, Dunlop (via Andersons) do something about it.
This is our 3rd year in cadet karting and the second time we've had tyre supply problems that have stopped us racing. It's not good enough.
