the transponder does not 'carry' data. You don't download the transponder. .Your Michron or Alfano does. The software is where the clever bit is.

TAG and AMB smacks of VHS or Betamax, Linux or Microsoft. Look at Microsoft. Windows 3.1, 98, Millenium, XP, 7,8 and all the variants. Leaves Death Wish/Star Wars behind.

How long is it before smarter software is produced for the AMB transponder system? And my guess it will be sold as an 'upgrade' for less than the opposition. Could almost believe competition will drive the prices down.....not enough units sold.

If you really want to know what the opposition is doing you time them. The TAG system is interesting and easier to follow on line off track, but there are pages and pages of 'data' that only the most nerdy will wade through.
