on here concerning the new cadet engine is staggering. These engines are 'equalised' at the factory, thus if engines remain as built with the same mix of parts they will remain relatively equal.
But under MSA regs they don't remain as built, in fact I'm sure most of the engines the average karter is buying have already been in bits to have the best parts out of them. By the spring the top teams will have engines with as much or more advantage as they had with any other cadet engine.

The pallets of similar engines that arrived in France were picked over by the various tuners and teams long before the average buyer got anywhere near them. Result; levels of inequality that make comers look cheap and inviting.
