But what IMO it totally wrong is how is been implemented

There MAIN points in the new motor spec:

Must be half a second slower than current motors

And:

Cadets are now 2.5 seconds faster

Sorry but BOTH are not true!

And it's on these points that the msa has decided to mess around with the comer and Honda grids,

They are slowing us down on points that are false!

What myself and others don't like us how it's been done

They state that cadets are now 2.5 seconds faster, I just don't see it's true, if it is true then fair enough but don't state something that is not true when bringing in a huge change and possible expense, based on those facts

The new motor was to be half a second slower, but its already half a second faster than there regs just weeks ago!

Once the builders get more knowledge they will only get faster,

even if they don't get faster, the iame is already the faster than 90% of the comers and all the Hondas so why mess with the current cadets when it's the only main growing classes?

As some very qualified posters have said previous why not leave alone until everyone knows what the true speeds will be and go from there, the iame was tested for one day at one circuit, how can that be "extensive testing" to in force rules / cost/ and confusion that the whole of the uk is forced to adopt

I hope that they don't kill off Honda, similar to what happened to the wtp grid at most tracks

They messed with the Honda in France and it killed the class,

if the msa loose the Honda / comer grids karting will not be in a good place for the future of our great sport in a few years
