I think it was mentioned on her a while back about them being a pain in the ass about kart tyres because they are a leisure product instead of from a car used on the roads.

Luckily we managed to offload some old sets too a guy who was doing a lawnmower race on a tarmac track so needed some kart tyres.

Another alternative could be to find people who are just starting karting on their first practise days and off them our 2/3 race meeting old tyres as they tend to be better than the ones they are running.
