Disposal of tyres is problematic and expensive as there is only a few recyclers in the country and collectors have to have special licences - it is no wonder so many people just leave them at the circuit for the circuit owners to clear up. We recently had a clear out and it cost us a £1 a tyre at a centre in Saltney near Chester , no joke when you have accumulated 150 tyres - we asked our local Kwik Fit if we could use their disposal facility and they wanted £1.50 a tyre. Internet searches will turn up local facilities usually .
