I wouldnt worry about telling the driver to lean forwards its a nasty habbit & achieves nothing other than possibly slowing him down for a minute moment. Weight you want as central and as low as you can get it...you only move it from that position if you have serious handling issues or wet conditions. To me it sounds like you are diving in the deep end before you can swim.. if I was you I wouldnt get so caught up in the how what when why just get the kart set up like teh others and worry more when he is in the top 10 unless he already is.
