Interesting point about Speedway, but there will always be drivers that aspire to be in 'f1' and need somewhere to start. Unless they reduce the entry age to car racing from 14, karting will always present the first step IMO. If its true, I think it's a good thing that F1 are creating a proper ladder, if that's what this is supposed to be.
