Thank you so much I'm humbled by all of the offers of help and support.
The bobbies have just left and felt like me in the fact that if it is in the Calderdale area it will be found, socco are attending tomorrow.
In the hold all was my pg and Gabes Nat a licence and the log book for our motors so this weekend we going to give racing a miss and take a step back and look at our options.

The insurance threw me a curve ball today when I called them to make a claim, they said that motorised vehicles are not insured in your garage.... So I threw one back saying that the kart wasn't motorised as they was no engine attached and I claiming for a rolling chassis........ Erm they said we will call you back.

How can I find out the engine and serial number with out my log book and how can I replace the log book?
