Let's firstly give the marshalls @ Whilton an enormous pat on the back and an "A" for effort as they did work tirelesly from very early Sunday to pump, dig, brush and any other method to get racing going.
I don't think the Rotax were prioritorised over Honda's --- I think it was more a safety issue. For example us heavy 177 fodder were re-arranged to go out and test the track first. If we had problems then everyone else would definately have problems.
When we came in we were asked for our opinions on track safety and race safety by the CoC which was nice to see. Opinions were divided at that time from its OK, to its OK on our own but not sure about a race.
On the weather front, I was amazed to get home and find glorious sunshine and much much warmer weather! I only live an hour away from Whilton.....perhaps they should have waited a little longer --- but it was hideous at the track.
