Hi Rich84,

The clutch wont be your problem with a lack of revs. The new spec clutch only increases speed very very minimal off slow corners. Lacking power at high revs or lacking high revs is likely due to a dieing battery(get a new one), an uncleaned carb, or the engine is desparate for a rebuild. If that is the case, i would get it looked after before you run it because its far cheaper in the long run or even in the short term if its about to blow up.
