Hmmm I see his point however since clerks are judges of fact, they aren't entitled to use their opinion and have to follow the letter of the law.

It's interesting though, drivers and teams want to have it all their own way, I feel sorry for the clerks, people complain when they not enforce the rules, and then they complain when they do Enforce the rules.

Either way the rules in f1 differ greatly from standard MSA rules so his statment for club racing doesnt really fit, and besides, from the photos and reports from rye at the weekend suggests drivers were cutting corners to gain an advantage
