Theres an easy way to solve it all. Give everyone 2 flat out rolling up laps to get heat into the tires.

At whilton everyone comes off this time of year as the tires are so cold and require you to brake for the first corner to make it round.
In the summer you can go in near flat and theres a lot less incidents.

But No the msa officials moan even if you slide the kart about to try and get some heat into the tires on the rolling up lap. and insist its very slow at the starts so in these conditions the tire temp drops further.
