My son starting racing Honda two years ago and I recommend it. Before putting him in a race I got him serious seat time at tracks. Caxton at the weekend we had the entire track to ourselves for hours. A cadet at PFI on a Saturday can get upto 3 hours on the track - enough to put them to sleep on the way home. Rye is good for seat time at weekdays/weekends and Whilton is OK on Wednesdays (only holidays) Once happy in the kart, it will be time to spend money on coaching, but that is another story.
