I think the main factor wouid be track temperature(apart from cost)
When Hot use full mags
average temperature half mags
and when cold Ali's
The mags don't retain temperature as much therefore pressures remains more consistant ie finish tyre pressure is closer the starting pressure(remember to compensate)
Also the mags are a lot lighter(about 1KG a set) - we nearly got caught underweight once
